Right. So, here we are...

I'm not sure why I've just done this-created a blog. Perhaps it's mid-life? Perhaps nothing quite so trite. I'm sure the reasons will appear eventually, and most likely will be nothing like what I am supposing now. A new adventure...

Here's what I hope to put up here-photos, photos, photos. Old, new, stylized, not so stylized. Mostly of travels, never of travails. Perhaps some of my ongoing, only occasionally finished, projects. I love learning new crafty things-so far, I've taken on knitting, crochet, photography, sketching, jewelry making, cross-stitch, writing, candle-making, and quilting. I get bored easily.

If I can figure out how I do things, I'll put up tutorials. If I make something that someone else has rightly claimed, I'll give full praise and credit where credit is due.

I tend to use quite a lot of -dashes- and exclamation points! which I have been told are very annoying. I'm sure you'll let me know if this is truly the case, or if my source is an Elements of Style snob. The jury's still out as far as I'm concerned.

I won't guarantee that I won't also rant about the state of my state. It's quite the interesting place, this place where I live. So much happens that seems to be the stuff of fiction or fantasy. We do keep police blotters busy to be sure.
